Sellersville Theatre Here We Come!!!

Hello, we are all psyched for the Sellersville Theatre this coming Saturday. I will have a small quantity of some pre-release copies of the Sinclair CD available at the merchandise table. I am planning on having the CD's have both playable Audio and MP3's for your iplayers. Check it out, the Sinclair music is the closest thing you will find to original old school Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin. It is as real as it gets. No false pretensions, just good ol' american rock and roll the way it was intended to be!
Tickets are almost gone so if you were procrastinating you better snap up some advance tickets now 'cause there won't be any at the door! Peace, PH

Elm Street Studios Gear Shootout + More...

The gear shootout at Elm Street studios last week was a success! We tested 6 different summing mixers and how they sounded with the outputs from a ProTools HD digital recording setup. It was great to meet other top producer/engineers and listen carefully to the cream of the crop high end audio gear. For my taste in audio the API
equipment sounded the best! As far as other happenings, I am leaving for London UK
in November with trusted friend JR Warner in hopes of supporting a charitable organization he is involved with. I hope to be able to help him in the future with all his philanthropic (ad)ventures. Giving to those in need is extremely rewarding on all levels. Keep posted for more updates in the coming days. PH

A tribute to all those who protect us

To all the people who risk their lives every day to keep us safe, Thank You! To the Firefighters, Police, Rescue Units, Medics, Military, Public Servants, and the countless others that work to keep order in a sometimes disorderly world, your work is appreciated by many people - of which I am one. To all those that work every day to make the world a better place, keep the faith!

Playing with feeling................

Following some comments after a show recently on how my playing style had "feeling"or a good "feel" to it - first of all -thank you very much, I appreciate that big time! Second of all, that comes from years of playing every day and, visualizing what I am playing or going to play slightly beforehand. One of the best exercises to develop a better "feel" to your playing is to whistle or sing a melody then copy it on your instrument. It is amazing to find out that it is often times very different than what you come up with just playing your normal patterns and runs that you are accustomed to! After developing that type of faculty it is then easier to think of your playing as more of a natural extension of yourself rather than a quick flurry of notes that in theory work, but are not coming from the heart. I believe the listener detects that on a subliminal level. I know exactly what a whole step string bend with vibrato will sound like before I play it. The same can be said for all the intervallic relationships between notes, various techniques, keys, tonalities, effects, and so on. That being said, it is easier to push the boundaries of music once you achieve that level of proficiency. Things that would never work musically for another musician and will sound awful, will work perfectly for you because you know how and when to execute it. A descending chromatic run in the wrong place is simply horrendous! Anyway, enough with the technical phraseology. I was extremely pleased that some listeners and fans heard that element in my playing and were able to convey that to me. Thank you! We are all excited for our House of Blues, Atlantic City, performance this coming Friday. We have some radio interviews coming up Thursday and Friday AM on the Shark 103.7 FM classic rock. Many thanks to our amazing and awesome beyond belief PR team!! We have a whole group of music industry VIP's coming to see the show which is cool with me daddy-o! These folks will have a wild time with the GTLO boys! We will be doing a meet and greet after the show so by all means hang out if you want to see us after we are finished the show. We will most likely be set up at the merch table. See you then, PH
